Experience

(People who have paid me to do stuff)

  • Current responsibilities include qualitative/quantitive research and leading on design initiatives for the UK and EU regions and creating and running workshops.

  • For six years I worked as the lead designer with the health tech start-up Xperiome.

In my time there I was responsible for designing and improving the Raremark platform. Creating and maintaining their brand as well as the creation and maintaining the brand for Xperiome and study sites.

Other duties include animation, video editing, illustration, documentation, and team management.

  • Designing for both customer and client facing solutions for clients such as EDF, Aviva, QuoteMeHappy, General Accident and Barclays Wealth.

I was also responsible for the illustration, animation and video editing and for Acknowledgement and its sister company Recognition.

  • Design and frontend coding of financial and comparison websites. Most notably re-designing and building their award-winning mortgage comparison platform (Which Mortgage 2014). Other tasks included designing & building of emails and ad banners.

  • During my time at LBI I worked on a site redesign for Turkcell and helped develop a pitch for Kurt Geiger’s “Everything but the shoes“ campaign.

Interests

(What I do for free)

  • If it invoves 3d printing, a raspberry pi and very little practical purpose chances are I have attempted it.

  • For the past 6 years, I have been collecting and repairing broken video game consoles. Not content with filling up my home with lots of retro tat I started a monthly retro gaming night in a club in Margate. This unfortunately has become an excellent excuse to purchase more tat.

  • Anything from screen printing to lino cuts. I am very fortunate to live in a very creative area with some excellent studio spaces.
